In this video, Nayaswami Jyotish talks about children and education. He explains how modern education forces children to pursue a very narrow path, a path which can be monetised, as parents believe. However this does a great deal of harm to the children and deprives them of the possibilities of enrichment in many different ways. A great deal of human potential is thus wasted. Nayaswami Jyotish urges us to be open and sensitive. He makes a case for not depriving the children of the possibilities of enrichment of various faculties of their intelligence. He draws attention to the varied aspects of intelligence a child possesses. However, due to peer and societal pressure, most of these aspects of intelligence get hardly utilised or are grossly underutilised. He makes a passionate appeal to all, especially the parents, to allow and facilitate the blossoming of the potential that lies in each child.
